Haotong is a Designer with a passion for interior design, sustainable architectural design, and visualization. She graduated from Columbia GSAPP (MS) and with outstanding graduate honors from Shenzhen University (B.Arch).

During her time at Columbia, Haotong saw her collaborative design work, Possibility Makers, exhibited at the 2022 SZ-HK Urbanism\Architecture Bi-City Biennale for its focus on the power of architectural details and its thought-provoking effect for political alternatives.

Before moving to New York, Haotong worked as an Architectural Designer in Shenzhen, where she participated in several architectural design competitions. She has experience working on projects across all scales, from small-scale projects such as interior residential renovation, educational buildings, and museums to large-scale office campus design. Her first professional project, Shekou Theatre renovation, an adaptive reuse project to transform a theatre into a community center, won first place in the competition. She is excited to bring her experience to future initiatives with the DXA team.
