Julian Graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture. His design philosophy is centered around the tectonic nature of architecture: How materials act individually and as part of a greater field. At Illinois Tech, he took multiple fabrication classes, while also being an organizing member
of Art x Architecture club. To him, architecture is a constant dance between speculation and practicality.

In the summer of 2024 Julian participated in the IIT Design/Build program. After a semester of design work in Chicago, he set off for Bhale, India. Over the course of two months, the team constructed the foundation, superstructure, and finish for a community gathering space, using rudimentary tools and local building techniques.

Julian joined DXA Studio in August of 2025.
