Melissa received her Bachelor of Architecture at Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture and Design in 2020. During her time in the five-year program, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Europe for a semester where she was able to analyze various architecture in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Austria and Switzerland. This experience sparked her interest and directed her thesis to focus on juxtaposing program and users – An architecture for giraffes and humans.
After graduating Melissa worked continued to work at PS&S for two years, where she previously held multiple internships at. Melissa
gained valuable knowledge by working on a variety of protects in the science and technology, commercial and real estate sectors of the company. Her passion for impactful design led her to join the DXA team.
Melissa joined DXA studio in Summer 2022.
