Lahaina Homes provided rapidly delivered, dignified prefabricated houses that have redefined disaster relief housing while reconnecting residents to community and place.

In response to the devastating wildfires that displaced residents of Lahaina, Hawaii in 2023, Liv-Connected + DXA Studio teamed up with Dynamic Construction Group, Fading West, and Guerdon to provide temporary housing for those in need. Using modular, off-site fabrication and flexible site planning, the homes balance delivery speed with high-quality design. Recognized by FEMA as a new benchmark, this approach demonstrates a scalable, human-centered model for disaster response—reducing waste, cost, and time while uplifting communities in crisis.
